2019 KPREP Results

The results from the 2019 Kentucky Performance Rating for Educational Progress (KPREP) were released today. Breckinridge County Middle School has much to celebrate as we strive to be remarkable in everything we do. Students were tested in the areas of reading, math, writing, science, and social studies. Our students worked hard, and scores showed that BCMS scored higher than the state average in 4 of the 5 areas tested! Breckinridge County Middle School also ranked as a top 5 middle school in the region in Proficiency, Math, Reading, and Writing scores. The state also began a new star rating system this year. BCMS was rated as a 4 star school, but because of having an area with a significant gap, special education, our star rating was reduced by one. An overall 3 star rating is something to be proud of and we will continue to strive to be the 4 star school we are and reduce the gap for all our scholars. Please know that BCMS leaders couldn’t be prouder of our scholars and the effort they put forth throughout the year to achieve this success.
